View from my cell phone.

This has been my life lately, as seen through the not so great camera lens from my BlackBerry Tour.

I've been trying to eat a little bit healthier lately, not for dieting purposes, just for the well being of myself. Going for soups and salads, grilled instead of fried, not going back for seconds, and obeying the "don't get a serving that is bigger than your fist" rule. Even though this delicious soup from Lee's Coffee and Tea was eaten by Ariel, I myself have been trying to be healthy.

This week was little Sophie's birthday! She turned 9 years old. I can't believe she is that old, she still looks like a puppy. Even though she's not the nicest dog around, we still love her to pieces around here.

Mr. Raybourn and his friends [including me] are total nerds, but I wouldn't have him any other way :] On a regular basis, this is what happens.

This shot was taken from Braxton's phone. He spilled paint on the floor at work (Sherwin Williams) and it just happen to spill in the shape of a heart! He took a picture of it and sent it to me because he said that it reminded him of me. :] swooonnn

Also, I've really been experiencing a lot of changes in my life, and all seem for the good. I'm really excited about things and where everything seems to be headed with me. Doors have been opening for me that I would've never in my wildest dreams thought would actually be happening to me. Things just seem to be going really good right now. Everything is still in the making, but I'm really excited about it all.

I hope things are going great for you as well! Let me hear about what's going on in your life! Have a good day.

I'm such a girl..

I almost cry at every wedding I attend. These are some shots that I took at my sweet Aunt Paula's wedding this past Saturday! :) I am extremely happy for her and I wish her and Lavon the best of luck!

And it seems as if I'm constantly in the shopping mood, especially for the clothing shown above. I wish I could have it all! I'm also in the mood to decorate a house... Maybe one day!

And while we're on the subject of wishing, I wish I knew what I wanted to be when I grew up.
Happy Wishing!

Spring Cleaning

So Braxton and I were looking through my old pictures the other day and we stumbled upon these! I had completely forgotten that I had taken them and I thought they were cool, so I want to share them! These are from someones "junk" pile on the side of the road, I thought they might make pretty cool pictures so I whipped out my camera and took a few shots. The sayings true, one mans trash is another mans treasure :]

In other news, Ariel informed me today she will be giving me a ton of fabric that she got from her grandmother! I'm super excited about that! My mind is racing with the possibilities of what all I could create.
I'm also very seriously about to buy an Instax camera. I haven't decided between the Instax Mini or the Instax 210, but I am getting one for sure! I have been wanting one for some time now and I think that it's time that I get one. I'm going to spoil myself a little more. :] I mean why not? It's Summer! It's time for fun and laughter and some polaroid's!

And here are some sweet Summer pictures from weheartit.com! I adore this VW van, I wish I could own it.

I love this pattern!

I hope your Summer is sweet!

Saturday

I did a lot of art journaling with Ariel! We had a blast despite the terrible weather.

Oh yeah, and surprise! I cut my hair! I was ready for a summer time change so, I cut my hair! Happy Sunday!

I feel

As if I've been neglecting my poor little blog lately. I'm sorry! I have been super busy lately! I have some photos of what all I have been up too lately. First there was one of my best friends graduations that I attended with the lovely Lindsay. I'm so proud of Josie! She sang amazingly at her class night :]

And then after the lonngggg graduation we headed over to Josie house for food and fun times.

A few days after that we headed to New Orleans for Josie's senior trip! It was so much fun even though my wallet hurts from all the money that I spent. I have to say it was completely worth it though, I got so many cute dresses! Before we left, I had to have a tiny photo shoot with Christmas lights.

Once we got to New Orleans we had a fun surprise! Outside of our hotel room everyday there was always a "random item", I liked to call it our random item of the day :]

And while we were there, so was CNN! They were right outside of our hotel so Josie and I would "accidentally" walk behind the camera and we saw ourselves on CNN that night! We also snagged some pictures of Anderson Cooper. It was a very neat experience.

We found this adorable vintage store called Ragin Daisy where all the clothes are either hand made or vintage. I found an amazing 1970's anchor dress that I couldn't resist!

But I have to say my favorite store that we went too would have to be Francesca's. That is definitely where I spent a majority of my money. I bought so many cute dresses and shirts! Here is one dress I bought from there that I'm absolutely in love with!

Overall, I've had a very good week! I'm looking forward to the upcoming weeks as well! I have a bunch of weddings to attend and who doesn't love weddings?? They're such a happy time worth sharing. Well, I'm off to work on my art journal! I've neglected that too lately.

Have a happy day & make the best of it!
