New Seasons

Does certain music seem to go with certain seasons to anyone besides me? The two bands that are "Summer time bands" to me are NeverShoutNever! and Search The City. But NeverShoutNever! is a big time Summer band to me. Every time that I hear some of his music I automatically think back to last Summer when me and my friends were completely obsessed with him and his music, we would sing it constantly :] And me and Josie freaked when we first saw him in concert at Warped Tour in Chicago and the second go round in New Orleans with our other pal, Lindsay. I love how music can remind you of so many things, the good, the bad, the pretty. It's what links us all. Oh, how I wish I could sing.

Speaking of pretty things, I absolutely adore this picture of these cupcakes! I'm thinking of doing a bake sale for fun, if anyone else is interested let me know and we will get to baking!

Also I am super excited about going to New Orleans in a couple of weeks so [hopefully] my shopping urge will be put to rest by spending way to much money in Urban Outfitters. :]

I am in complete love with this adorable handmade felt kitty iPhone case! It is soooo cute!

It makes me want to try to make something like this for Mr. Raybourn :]
Maybe one day!

I wish

That I could go to this so badly! It seems like it would be so much fun! Sometimes I can't wait to get out on my own and just go where ever I please! (like that's really how it works)

I have big news! I got my new camera lens in yesterday and I absolutely love it! I'm overly excited about it!
(In honor of Toy Story) Kudos to my brother for taking these :]

Well not that much has been going on lately! It's summer time and time to be lazy and go on picnics!
I hope you have a lovely evening!

Excitement!

Today I ordered my new camera lens and a new camera strap for my Canon! I'm so excited to get them in and learn my new lens! Also I have been writing so many "Thank You" notes lately that I feel as if my hand might fall off. That statement is bittersweet because I am so thankful for all the presents I have received [it really is a blessing] yet writing all those thank you notes is sometimes a pain. I shouldn't complain though, everyone has been very generous!

Lately I have been asked to shoot two weddings and I'm very excited yet nervous about this. The first one will be on June 12th of my adorable Aunt Paula and her fiance Lavon! I love her very dearly and feel extremely honored that she asked me to take their pictures! The other wedding/engagement pictures that I will be taking are for one of my best friends, Kimber! The date on that is still undecided, but I will be taking their engagement pictures soon! I'm so excited! I've never done either but it's something I've always wanted to try to do so wish me luck! If anyone has any advice, I'm all ears! [or all eyes considering I will be reading the advice ;) ]
So that is what's happening in my life right now! What's happening in yours?

Oh yeah! And I haven't shared this with you guys yet, but my hair is kind of red now! I love it!
Ciao!

Have you ever..

Been looking for one thing and find something completely unexpected that inspires you in a way that makes you want to jump for joy? Or maybe at least try your hardest to achieve. My inspiration for the day: film photography. I am falling in love more and more each day with photography and trying my hardest to be the best photographer I can be, even though now I would just consider it my hobby, who knows, it may turn into a profession if I play my cards right. The guy who inspired me to use film is Jason Stockdale. When I get married one day [swooon] I would love to use him! He seems like a great, family oriented guy and I love his work! I know he has no idea who I am and will probably never read this shout out I am giving him but, keep up the good work!

I would one day love to be able to use this lovely Canon!

I am also inspired to one day own a house like this. I love cozy little cottages! And this one is beautiful! Or at least this one room is. I love everything about it though!

P.S. Happy Mother's Day for those which the saying is appropriate. As some of you know, my mom died when I was four years old of a bone marrow disease called aplastic anemia. I don't really remember much about her, but as I'm maturing into an adult, I miss her more and more. For those of you that are blessed enough to still have your mom around, don't take her for granted and be sure to always shower her with love! And remember you're never too old to hand make something for your mom for her to showcase around! It means so much coming from the heart!

Finally

I finally got the lazy bug out of my system and uploaded a few pictures from graduation!Congrats to Spencer, my brother, for getting valedictorian! (No we're not twins, he's my step-brother but we've been together since day care so he feels like blood)

This is my adorable nephew, Jackson, that was so excited to see me graduate! I love him! :D

Congratulations to the Heidelberg Academy Class of 2010! I will never forget you guys!

P.S. If you would please notice my beautiful new header that the beautiful, extremely talented Kacey Holifield made me! It looks fantastic and she will definitely go far being a graphic designer! She'll be in 11th grade next year and she already has this much talent. It's amazing. She also is one of the nicest, funniest, coolest gal you'll ever come across that can play the piano like nobodies business! Thanks again Kacey!

Oh and me and Hayley Williams will be seeing Iron Man 2 tonight. Not together of course ;)

Sorry

I haven't posted in a while but I have been so busy lately! I haven't had time to sit and relax! But just to let you know, new things are about to happen to my blog that I am super happy about! All thanks to my friend Kacey and her amazing skills! I'm going to try to do a big update over the weekend but with Iron Man 2 coming out tomorrow, it might have to wait until Saturday ;)
I'm just going to leave you some eye candy for now. Enjoy!

It feels good

Sometimes to act like a kid :) yesterday all me and Braxton did was stay at home and play my Super Nintendo! Donkey Kong is where it's at! It was so much fun! I forgot how much I really love that game, no matter how old it is. We decided since it was terrible weather outside, we would stay indoors and play Donkey Kong, so we did.

Tonight is the big night: graduation. I'll try to write more about [hopefully] how awesome it was and with pictures. I'm not nervous right now, but I know right before they call my name I'll be praying that I won't trip. But I can't wait to see all my friends and family that are coming to share this great moment with me! <3

P.S. I love this dog! It's Mr. Raybourn's chocolate lab, Reesie. :D
Have a lovely evening!
