Today

Was way more fun that expected! We had graduation practice and at the end of every graduation practice, the whole school comes outside to see the seniors leave. All morning I didn't think it was going to be that much fun, I just thought that I would hop in my car and leave, but then I arrived at school and was completely wrong. We decked out my friends truck in school colors and me and a few others got in the back of his truck and rode out blowing air horns and yelling. A couple of guys in front of us burned their tires to the rim! It was fun and we almost got in trouble, but since it is tradition, of course they let us go. Then we all went to Mi Casita and ate together! It was the first and probably the last time we've all gotten together and done that. Bittersweet moment. All in all though, I enjoyed it. :D

Decisions...

So I'm having a hard time figuring out what I want to give my friends as their graduation present. I really want to give them some homemade goodie that they can have for the rest of their lives and always remember that I made that for them for graduation, but I don't really know what I want to do yet. Any suggestions?

One day I will be able to make cute cupcakes like this. Thank you Ace of Cakes for getting me interested in decorating food. :]

I am in the shopping mood! I want all new clothes. Wouldn't that just be the best to be able to go and get whatever clothes you want! With no worries about money. Ohhhh that would just be the life :) swwoooonnnn

And one day, I will have this cute little girl!

Happy wishing!

My Hair

Will most definitely be like this very soon! I'm waiting until after graduation to do this just in case something goes wrong. I graduate May 3rd which is this coming up Monday! I can't believe that it's already here! Anyways, in case something goes horribly wrong, I wouldn't want my hair looking terrible in all of those graduation pictures! So, I'm doing it, hopefully, sometimes after next Monday. Hooray!

Another thing that I'm starting to think about is my upcoming college classes. I'm really nervous I'm going to get the wrong teacher, the one that everyone hates and that is the most terrible thing to walk the face of the earth. That would be my luck. But my boyfriend said that he will go with me to pick out mine and his classes and hopefully we will have a lot of classes together next year! That would be so great! I definitely think that I will take an art class and creative writing for fun, and then of course the boring basics.

What are your suggestions?

I hope the rest of your day is fantastic!

My Style Icon..

[all images found via wehearit.com]

Would have to be Zooey Deschanel. I would love to own every single thing in her closet! I love it all. Her style, her hair, everything! Her acting and music is great too! I love her newest movie 500 Days of Summer and also her latest album (She & Him Volume 2) is better than the first I believe!

Who is your style icon?

Today is another beautiful day out in southern Mississippi and I think I'll ride my new bike again today :D Also, other great news, I found out I got a photography scholarship to Jones County Junior College! It pays half-tuition and I'm so excited about being on yearbook staff next year! It looks like I'm having all positive changes in my life right now and I'm so blessed.

I'm off to work on my art journal!
au revoir!

Yesterday..

I rode my bike all day long! It was so much fun! Josie, Braxton, and I all loaded our bikes up in Braxton's truck and headed downtown for a fun day! We explored around everywhere until Braxton's handlebars started giving him trouble. The weather was beautiful and it was just a perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon with the people I love!
I can't wait to go again! Maybe next time we can pack a lunch and have a pick-nick! Wouldn't that just be lovely? Also my art journaling class starts today! I'm so ready to start that! It's going to be so much fun!

And I think it's offical
Summer has begun!

I am so happy!

I finally got a bike today! I am so excited! Me and the boyfriend have been wanting to get a bike together for some time now. I spotted this one at Walmart once and every time that we went in, this one wasn't there; but tonight at 10:30 p.m. it was there and we bought them! How spontaneous the purchase was made my night. And don't worry, he got the Mongoose that he has had his eye on. We plan on riding them tomorrow with friends and I'm just so excited that I finally have it! I haven't had a bike in what seems like forever and I actually forgot what joy it brings to feel the wind blow through your hair! (plus it's great exercise) Maybe we'll ride downtown and stop and see what the antique shop has to offer and eat at a local coffee shop. Oh what fun! I will try to take more pictures of our adventure tomorrow, seeing that it was dark and spur of the moment tonight I didn't get a chance to take any tonight.

If you don't have a bike, get one! They're completely worth it!

Happy riding!

Sometimes I just

Like to light a candle and read a good book. Especially on bad weather days, it just seems to go with the whole "you can't go outside and play" theme that bad weather seems to put on us.

Another thing that I have been in the mood to do more of lately is painting. My friend Josie and I have these "paint dates" where we just head to our local Walmart (seeing that we don't have any craft stores), buy a canvas, and just paint all night long. It's very fun and I'm definitely in the mood to paint away.

These are just some pictures taken from my cellular of my latest creations

I'm pretty excited to say that my online art journal class is starting soon. Maybe that will help put my artsy urge to ease. It should be a lot of fun! Anyways, I'm going to try to make the best of this yucky weather that we're having. I'll try to catch up on my reading and take some good naps. :)

I'll leave you with this pretty image found on weheartit

Wouldn't that just be magical to have?
Have a lovely evening

My Little Yellow Bird

What a yellow bird is to me: a person's true love; the one person they are both externally and internally, both consciously and subconsciously attached to with the realization that those feelings will never die; the one person that they know they can't live without. In a nutshell, what a person loves. What makes them happy.
So I've been falling in love with online blogs more and more each day and decided to try my hand at it.

I'm about to embark on a new stage in my life, it begins with this: graduation. It is one of the scariest yet exciting things that I have experienced thus far and I haven't even walked across the stage yet. There are so many things running through my head. What will I do after high school? What will
I major in? Who will I become? Where will I end up? All these things I'm sure everyone encountered when their graduation came. I know I will be fine, I just have to breathe and believe.

Here is a little Yellow Bird pretty that I found. :]

I hope that you enjoy the rest of your day!
